Polyionene/Br3 Grafted on Magnetic Nanoparticles as an Efficient and Eco-Friendly Catalyst for the Metal Free Synthesis of 3,4-Dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-Ones/Thiones


One useful and important group of nanoparticles ismagnetic nanoparticles (MNPs). These nanoparticles can be consisted of metal oxides like iron oxides and ferrites, although pure transition metals such as Cobalt, Nickel and Copper are also employed. Among different kinds of nano materials investigated, iron oxide nanoparticles have been extensively used due to their better chemical stability and biocompatibility compared to other metallic nanoparticles.
